At the School Reform Commission meeting Thursday evening, among a long list of resolutions, SRC members voted to approve license agreements with Renaissance charter operators, charging them for use of school buildings. A revised student code of conduct was adopted.
The meeting took place amid mass protests about the District’s school budget crisis.
Rallying for more and fair school funding, protesters assembled at the Comcast building earlier this afternoon, then marched to City Hall and to the School District’s headquarters before the SRC meeting.
