The School District’s video recording of the public testimony and voting at the three-hour School Reform Commission meeting on school closings March 7 is now online. And in case you missed the protests, the American Federation of Teachers has produced a five-minute video showing the opposition to closings on the day of the vote.
The District has also posted the press release detailing Thursday’s final closing decisions on its Facilities Master Plan web page. District officials say that the transition process for affected schools will be launched with a citywide principals’ meeting on Wednesday, March 13, followed by meetings at individual schools.
