The School Reform Commission’s action meeting got underway just after 5:30 p.m. The adoption of the lump-sum budget for the next fiscal year is listed on the meeting’s agenda, but that item will not be discussed this evening.
Almost 60 speakers have signed up to speak on topics ranging from school closings, cutbacks, Head Start, charter school expansion, and the proposed closing of M.H. Stanton Elementary.
