Superintendent William Hite and his team had a rough time arguing their case to the massive and raucous turnout at Tuesday night’s school-closings forum in North Philadelphia. Should the plan to close 37 schools be approved in the spring, that region of the city would be hit the hardest by closures.
Tonight, at Edison High School, the District will hold its second meeting for the District’s North-Central planning area. The schedule for the remaining meetings this month, including which schools will be addressed in each meeting, is below. Watch the meeting live above starting at 6 p.m.
