The School Reform Commission will be holding its first action meeting of the new year tonight. The SRC will be voting on adopting a strategic plan for career and technical education and the proposed nonrenewal of Community Academy’s charter. Community, one of the city’s first charter schools, has been a consistent poor performer, failing to make yearly progress benchmarks the last six years. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. Watch it live above.
