The Notebook and Great Philly Schools are participating in an informational forum tonight at the Kimmel Center on how to navigate the rapidly evolving educational landscape in the city.

WHYY/NewsWorks reporter Benjamin Herold and Notebook Leadership Board member Brett Schaeffer are among the speakers. Kristin Forbriger from Great Philly Schools, which is planning to launch a website this month containing information about public, charter, and private schools in the city, will also be there. Copies of the Notebook’s Fall Guide to High Schools and our current edition on A Portfolio of Schools will be available.

The gathering starts with a reception at 5:30 p.m. The event will begin at 6 p.m.
