Need something to do on a rainy Monday? Why not work on your EduCon proposal? Proposals due Nov. 1st! educonphilly.org
— Chris Lehmann (@chrislehmann) October 29, 2012
The Nov. 1 deadline for submitting presentation proposals to annual education conference EduCon is quickly approaching. Spread the word to any educators or experts keen on leading a conversation. Topics should focus on the changes that technology is making in the classroom. In case it helps, here are EduCon’s five guiding axioms.
- Our schools must be inquiry-driven, thoughtful and empowering for all members.
- Our schools must be about co-creating — together with our students — the 21st Century Citizen.
- Technology must serve pedagogy, not the other way around.
- Technology must enable students to research, create, communicate and collaborate.
- Learning can — and must — be networked.
EduCon will be held Jan. 25-27 at the Science Leadership Academy (SLA). Register here.
