Hanna leaving for post in NYC

Associate Superintendent Tomás Hanna is leaving Philadelphia to become the Chief of Innovation for the New York City schools.

Hanna was a teacher and principal in the Philadelphia public schools and held several different roles in central administration. In 2008, Hanna was a member of the Broad Superintendents Academy Class.

In May, the District announced that Associate Superintendent David Weiner was leaving for a position in New York. Hanna leaves the School District of Philadelphia July 15.
