Jan. 27: Announce Renaissance Alert and Renaissance Eligible Schools and release RFQ (Request for Qualification from Lead Applicant turnaround teams) and RFI (Request for Information from Support Applicant turnaround teams)
Feb. 1-9: Community and staff meetings at Renaissance schools
Feb. 1-Mar. 12: Recruiting and formation of School Advisory Councils
Feb. 8-Mar. 1: Conduct school reviews in Renaissance Eligible Schools
Feb. 19: Phase I RFQ responses due from Lead Applicants
Feb. 26-Mar. 12: RFI responses received are due and received on a rolling basis
Mar. 12: Final list of Renaissance Schools announced
Mar. 15-Apr. 9: Training and development of School Advisory Councils
Mar. 26: Phase II RFP responses due from Lead Applicants
Apr. 13: Selected Turnaround Team finalists
Apr. 14-30: School Advisory Councils evaluate turnaround team finalists and submit matching recommendations to the Superintendent
May 5: Superintendent finalizes matches between schools and teams; makes recommendation to SRC
May 19: SRC vote on Renaissance School provider contracts, agreements, or charters
Sept. 2010: Renaissance schools open
